Buffalo Bills at Atlanta Falcons

Buffalo’s offense could only muster three points on the road, so if you were relying on any Bills in your fantasy super bowl, chances are you finished second.

Matt Ryan had his best game since coming from his injury. He threw for 250 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions. Roddy White was on the receiving end of two of Ryan’s touchdown passes. White finished with 139 yards receiving.

Kansas City Chiefs at Cincinnati Bengals

Matt Cassell continued his putrid 2009 campaign with 180 yards, a touchdown and two picks.

Bengals owners were probably expecting more than what they got against the Chiefs’ defense. Chad Ochocinco and LaVernanues Coles each caught a touchdown. Cedric Benson showed up to the tune of 133 yards, but did not find the end zone.

Oakland Raiders at Cleveland Browns

Sebastian Janikowski accounted for all of Oakland’s scoring by kicking three field goals. His third was a sixty-one yarder at the end of the first half.

Jerome Harrison most likely got the start for some teams after last weeks lights our performance. Harrison did not disappoint. He scored a touchdown and totaled 148 yards on the ground.

Seattle Seahawks at Green Bay Packers

The Hawks have officially bottomed out. They gave up forty-eight points to the Packers and only managed ten after the embarrassing lost to the Bucs last week. John Carlson caught a touchdown, but can’t erase his bust tag at this point.

Much to Aaron Rodgers’ owners dismay, the Packers scored five rushing touchdowns. Ryan Grant scored two touchdowns in the first half. Grant gave way to Brandon Jackson who added two on the ground in the third quarter and scored on Rodgers only touchdown pass.

Houston Texans at Miami Dolphins

The Texans jumped out to a twenty-seven point lead in the first half and didn’t score another point; however, they managed to hang on for their eighth win of the season. Matt Schaub threw for 286 yards and two scores with one interception. Andre Johnson and Arian Foster each caught a touchdown.

The Dolphins were playing catch up most of the game, so their rushing game did not produce much. Chad Henne threw for 322 yards, a score and an interception. Some guy named Lex Hilliard scored two touchdowns, most likely infuriating Ricky Williams owners.

Jacksonville Jaguars at New England Patriots

The Jags laid an egg in Gillette Stadium and Maurice Jones-Drew paid the price as did his owners.

Tom Brady rewarded his owners with his second best game of the year on the biggest day of the fantasy calendar. Brady only threw for 267 yards, but his four touchdown passes more than made up for the lack of yards. Randy Moss didn’t have the yardage either, but his three touchdowns made up for that too.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints

Cadillac Williams helped lead the Bucs’ comeback on the strength of his 129 yards rushing, which included a twenty-three yard touchdown run.

Drew Brees put together a nice 2009 fantasy campaign, but his last several weeks have really disappointed. He only threw for one score and a measly 258 yards passing. Pierre Thomas and Robert Meachem each scored for the Saints.

Carolina Panthers at New York Giants

This game got out of hand so quickly, I don’t think the Giants knew what hit them. Jonathan Stewart rushed for 206 yards and one touchdown. Matt Moore threw for three touchdowns, including a twenty-seven yard strike to Steve Smith, who broke his arm on the play.

The Giants could not run the ball and once they got behind, the run was abandoned anyway. The other Steve Smith caught the Giants only touchdown.

Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers

Todd Heap had another random great game by catching two touchdowns. Ray Rice rushed for 141 yards, but he also lost a fumble.

Santonio Holmes led the Steelers receivers with eighty-six yards and a touchdown. Rashard Mendenhall also found the end zone, but only managed thirty-six yards rushing.

St. Louis Rams at Arizona Cardinals

Steven Jackson sat this one out, so the Rams’ ineptitude on offense was more likely than usual. As a matter of fact, the Rams appeared to have completely bagged this game as no-namers led the team on all offensive categories.

Kurt Warner threw for over 300 yards and two scores. Larry Fitzgerald caught a touchdown and Anquan Boldin had 116 yards receiving.

Detroit Lions at San Francisco 49ers

The Lions’ offense was terrible as usual, managing only six points. Maybe next year Matt Stafford and company will get their stuff together, but right now I wouldn’t touch any of them in next year’s draft until they can prove their worth and that includes Calvin Johnson.

Frank Gore led the Niners in rushing and receiving with 152 total yards and a touchdown. Vernon Davis has now become the Chris Carter of tight ends because all he does is catch touchdowns.

New York Jets at Indianapolis Colts

The Jets were down at the half, but thanks to the Colts resting their stars in the second half, they came back and won. Thomas Jones ran for over 100 yards and a score. The Jets’ defense/special teams accounted for two touchdowns and multiple turnovers and sacks of Peyton’s sub, who’s name I will not mention here.

I can’t imagine handing another team a win when you could eliminate them from playoff contention, but that is exactly what Jim Caldwell did. At least fantasy owners were prepared for this possibility.

Denver Broncos at Philadelphia Eagles

Jabar Gaffney caught two touchdowns and Knowshon Moreno accounted for the other.

Donovan McNabb threw for 322 yards and three touchdowns with one interception. Brent Celek led the Eagles receivers with 121 yards and a touchdown.

Houston Texans at St. Louis Rams

Matt Schaub and Andre Johnson proved their worth as fantasy stars. Schaub threw for 367 yards and a touchdown. Johnson caught nine passes for 196 of those yards.

Steven Jackson led the Rams in rushing and receiving and tallied 123 total yards.

Arizona Cardinals at Detroit Lions

Kurt Warner may not have put of the points his owners were hoping for this week, but he ended up turning in a decent performance. He threw for 233 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin each caught a touchdown. Beanie Wells had a nice game worth 110 yards rushing and a score.

Calvin Johnson continued his struggles and let his owners down with only three catches for thrity five yards. Maurice Morris rushed for 126 yards and a touchdown in what was most likely a wasted fantasy performance as no one in the universe started him.

New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills

Tom Brady did to owners what he did two years ago when he broke the passing touchdown record, he laid a total egg in the fantasy playoffs. He had an interception early on and didn’t surpass 100 yards until the second half. He did find Randy Moss for a touchdown.

Lee Evans scored the lone touchdown for the Bills. Otherwise, their offense stinks, but for some reason their defense always plays the Patriots tough. I wish I would have remembered that before I started Brady!

Miami Dolphins at Tennessee Titans

Chad Henne had a huge day passing with 349 yards and a touchdown, but he also had three interceptions. Ricky Williams rushed for eighty yards and a touchdown.

Vince Young seems to have figured out this whole NFL quarterback thing. He threw three touchdowns on 236 yards passing with one pick. Chris Johnson didn’t find the end zone and coughed up a rare fumble. He did have 159 total yards.

Atlanta Falcons at New York Jets

The coaches in this game cheered more for missed field goals than they did for touchdowns. Tony Gonzalez caught the Falcons touchdown.

The only Jets touchdown came when Braylon Edwards actually caught a wide open touchdown pass for sixty five yards.

Cleveland Browns at Kansas City Chiefs

This game featured a ton of scoring by people who most likely had zero fantasy impact. Case in point, Jerome Harrison rushed for 286 yards and three touchdowns, but there is no way he got started in a league with any less than twelve teams. Similarly, Joshua Cribbs had two kick off returns for touchdowns.

Matt Cassell had one of his best games of the year. He threw for 331 yards and two touchdowns. Jamaal Charles ran for 154 yards and a score.

Oakland Raiders at Denver Broncos

The Raiders were led by Michael Bush’s 133 yards rushing including a twenty three yard scoring run.

The Broncos were led by Matt Prater’s four field goals, which is a good indication as to why they lost to the Raiders. Brandon Marshall caught a touchdown.

Cincinnati Bengals at San Diego Chargers

The Bengals played well with heavy hearts after the passing of Chris Henry earlier this week. Carson Palmer had his first game over 300 yards this season including two touchdown passes. One of which was caught by Chad Ochocinco. Ocho had seventy nine yards receiving and an inspired twenty six yard run.

Philip Rivers continued his hot streak passing for 308 yards and three touchdowns. Two of Rivers’ touchdown passes went to Vincent Jackson and the other went to Antonio Gates.

Chicago Bears at Baltimore Ravens

Maybe Jay Cutler isn’t as good as people thought he was because the Bears’ offense is as bad as its been in years, perhaps including the Sexy Rexy and Kyle Orton years. The only Chicago score came on an Earl Bennett punt return.

Joe Flacco broke out of a slump that has lasted much of the second half of the season. He threw four touchdown passes and no interceptions. Two of his touchdown passes went to his long lost tight end, Todd Heap.

San Francisco 49ers at Philadelphia Eagles

The Niners’ offense struggled in Philly. Alex Smith returned as the ghost of Alex of Years’ Past with three interceptions and less than 200 yards passing. Frank Gore rushed for over 100 yards in the loss.

Donovan McNabb threw for over 300 yards, but only had one score and two interceptions. DeSean Jackson stood out again for the Eagles with 140 yards receiving and a touchdown.

Green Bay Packers at Pittsburgh Steelers

Aaron Rodgers owners might be singing his name all the way to the fantasy super bowl. He accounted for four touchdowns, including 383 yards passing and twenty two yards rushing. Greg Jennings finally showed up for a score and 118 yards receiving.

Speaking of huge games, Ben Roethlisberger threw for 503 yards and three touchdowns. He found Michael Wallace for two of the three scores.

Tampa Bay at Seattle Seahawks

I’m not sure what to make of Josh Freeman. He is on a terrible team, but has showed flashes of fantasy brilliance. His numbers weren’t great, but two touchdowns and 205 yards is a far sight better than one Tom Terrific. Derrick Ward and Carnell Williams rushed for sixty seven and sixty six yards respectively and each caught a touchdown.

I’m not sure what to make of Matt Hasselbeck either. I drafted him as a back up this year and quickly dropped him and never saw him make an appearance on another team all year. He has been banged up, but when he has played he has been awful. He threw four interceptions against a bad Bucs defense.

Arizona Cardinals
Larry Fitzgerald (knee) thinks he will play, but he’s listed as questionable.

Atlanta Falcons
Matt Ryan (turf toe) and Michael Turner (ankle) returned to practice this week, but they are still questionable at this point. Roddy White was limited in practice but is expected to play.

Baltimore Ravens
Derrick Mason (finger) was limited in practice and Mark Clayton (hamstring) missed practice on Thursday. Both are listed as questionable.

Buffalo Bills
Terrell Owens is questionable after missing practice on Thursday with an illness.

Carolina Panthers
Jake Delhomme (finger) did not practice this week, so he could be out again this week. Jonathan Stewart (toe) should play.

Chicago Bears
Devin Hester missed practice this week with a calf injury and is questionable.

Tom Brady (right shoulder/right finger/rib) was limited in practice this week, but he’s expected to play. Benjamin Watson was limited in practice and is questionable.

New Orleans Saints
Pierre Thomas (quad) was limited in practice, but he should be on the field on Sunday. Jeremy Shockey (toe) missed practice on Wednesday and is listed as questionable.

New Orleans Saints at Atlanta Falcons

Drew Brees helped the Saints stay undefeated with three touchdown passes. Reggie Bush was on the receiving end of two of those touchdowns throws. Strangely, no Saints receiver went over fifty-seven yards receiving.

The Falcons have turned to airing it out in Michael Turner’s absence. Chris Redman threw for over 300 yards with a touchdown and an interception.

Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears

Ryan Grant started the game off with a sixty-two yard touchdown run and bookended that with a one yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. He finished with 137 yards rushing and the two scores. Aaron Rodgers threw for only 180 yards and no touchdowns.

I still can’t get over how the Bears seem to avoid running the ball with Matt Forte. He’s only gone over 100 yards once this year and his four total touchdowns firmly plant him in bust territory for the year. Speaking of busts, I don’t think anyone is ready to pull the plug on Jay Cutler, but he has had very few standout performances this year. He barely threw for over 20o yards and his two touchdown passes were tainted again by his two interceptions.

Denver Broncos at Indianapolis Colts

Brandon Marshall broke the NFL record for receptions and surely rewarded some of his owners by helping them clinch a post-season spot or get past the first round of the playoffs. Marshall finished with 200 yards receiving and two touchdowns.

Peyton Manning seemed to have a big game with his four touchdown passes, but he only threw for 220 yards and also threw three to the other team. Dallas Clark caught three of Manning’s touchdown passes. Reggie Wayne had another stinker of a game. He hasn’t topped 100 yards in the last four weeks and has only once touchdown in the same stretch.

The real fantasy implication with all this is that the Colts have now clinched the number one seed in the AFC. Chances are Manning, Wayne and Clark will start, but play sparingly during the most crucial fantasy weeks.

Buffalo Bills at Kansas City Chiefs

Not much to say about the Bills. They won, but their quarterback threw for only eighty-six yards. Terrell Ownens caught a touchdown, but only had fifteen yards receiving.

Like most running backs before him, Jamaal Charles broke out against the Bills. He ran for 143 yards, which included a 76 yard touchdown run. He also added thirty-right yards receiving.

Cincinnati Bengals at Minnesota Vikings

Carson Palmer has had a very mediocre year despite his team’s overall success. He threw for less than a 100 yards against the Vikings averaging less than four yards a completion. The lone Bengals’ touchdown was a Palmer toss to Chad Ochocinco.

The Vikings offense got back on track after their poor performance last week at Arizona. Adrian Peterson rushed for ninety-seven yards and two touchdowns. He also had forty yards receiving. Sidney Rice caught a touchdown.

Carolina Panthers at New England Patriots

Carolina’s offense struggled on the road in Foxboro. Steve Smith owners (assuming there are any out there still) got rewarded with a touchdown and eighty-three yards receiving.

The talk of discord in the Pats locker room seems to be slightly exaggerated. They didn’t look great against the Panthers, but still got the job done. Tom Brady had one of his worst showings of the season. He had a season low in yardage (192 yards) and only one touchdown with an interception. Wes Welker went over 100 yards receiving, but Randy Moss only had one catch for sixteen yards. Owners of Brady and Co. should get back on track against the Bills next week during the fantasy playoffs.

New York Jets at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Thomas Jones continued a quietly great season against the Bucs. He scored two touchdowns on ninety-nine yards rushing. Jay Feely had the second best day for a Jet. He was 4 of 5 on field goals including three of forty yards or more.

The Bucs defense didn’t offer much resistance to the Jets, but their offense didn’t do them any favors. Rookie quarterback, Josh Freeman threw three interceptions and did not top 100 yards passing.

Miami Dolphins at Jacksonville Jaguars

Ricky Williams rushed for 108 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins win. Greg Camarillo caught seven passes for 110 yards.

Maurice Jones-Drew scored the only touchdown for the Jags.

Detroit Lions at Baltimore Ravens

The Lions offense could only manage a field goal against the Ravens defense. Daunte Culpepper was picked off twice by and averaged only four yards a pass.

Lots of Ravens got in on the fun against the Lions. Ray Rice led the way with 166 yards rushing, fifty-three yards receiving and a touchdown. Willis McGahee scored two touchdowns while Le'Ron McClain, Derrick Mason and Troy Smith all had one touchdown each.

Seattle Seahawks at Houston Texans

The Seahawks managed only one touchdown on a pass from Matt Hasselbeck to John Carlson.

Seattle’s secondary did not show up at all in Houston. Andre Johnson torched the Hawks defense to the tune of 193 yards and two touchdowns. Matt Schaub threw for 365 yards, the two scores to Johnson and an interception.

St. Louis Rams at Tennessee Titans

You know the Rams are having a bad year when Keith Null is your starting quarterback. Nothing against, Null, but he’s not exactly a household name. Null threw five interceptions in his career debut and most likely finale.

The Titans got big time performances from their two biggest fantasy names. Chris Johnson had 186 total yards and three touchdowns. Rob Bironas was 4 of 4 on field goals and added five extra points.

Oakland Raiders at Washington Redskins

The Raiders lost Bruce Gradkowski to injury and lost any chance to win the game. Justin Fargas found the end zone for the Raiders only touchdown.

The Skins offense put up the most points they have all year and got a rare win. Jason Campbell hooked up with Fred Davis for two touchdowns and Quinton Ganther scored two touchdowns from the one yard line.

San Diego Chargers at Dallas Cowboys

The Chargers came into Dallas and took care of business. Philip Rivers hooked up with Antonio Gates for a touchdown and hit Vincent Jackson seven times for 120 yards. LaDainian Tomlinson scored a touchdown for the fifth week in a row.

Tony Romo threw two touchdowns and no picks. The Cowboys three headed rushing attack has essentially ruined the value of all three backs in Dallas now that they are all healthy.

Arizona Cardinals
Tim Hightower (thumb) was limited in practice this week, but he’s expected to play.

Atlanta Falcons
Matt Ryan (turf toe), Michael Turner (ankle), and Michael Jenkins (ankle) missed practice this week. All of them are listed as questionablke at this point.

Clinton Portis (concussion) was placed on the IR.

Philiadelphia Eagles at Atlanta Falcons

The Eagles rolled the Falcons on both sides of the ball. Michael Vick accounted for two scores in his homecoming to Atlanta one of which was a touchdown pass to Brent Celek. Philly’s D was the big fantasy winner with two sacks, two interceptions, a fumble recovery and a touchdown.

The Falcons offense struggled predictably without stars Matt Ryan and Michael Turner. The lone Atlanta touchdown was scored by Roddy White.

St. Louis Rams at Chicago Bears

The Rams offense is consistently awful. As usual, the only standout performance (if you can call it that) from a fantasy standpoint was Steven Jackson. Jackson had 121 total yards, but could not find the end zone.

The Bear’s offense didn’t light up the scoreboard either. Matt Forte and Earl Bennett scored the touchdowns for Chicago.

Detroit Lions at Cincinnati Bengals

The Lions got up early thanks to a fifty-four yard touchdown reception by Calvin Johnson. Johnson finished with 123 yards and the score. After that, the Lions didn’t score again until late in the fourth quarter on a two yard Kevin Smith touchdown run.

The Bengals passing offense struggled to score touchdowns on the NFL’s worst passing defense. Carson Palmer finished with pedestrian numbers. He threw for 220 yards and a score but also had two interceptions. Chad Ochocinco had a rare big game. He caught a touchdown and had 137 yards receiving.

Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis

The Titans hung in there for a while, but eventually fell to the unbeaten Colts. Vince Young put together a decent game with 241 yards passing, two touchdowns and a interception. Chris Johnson was held in check, relatively speaking. He still had 113 yards on the ground and twenty-eight yards receiving. Kenny Britt caught a touchdown for the third straight week.

Joseph Addai scored two touchdowns on seventy-nine yards rushing and added seventeen yards receiving for the Colts. The rest of the usual suspects on Indy’s offense didn’t show up. Dallas Clark fumbled and finished with negative fantasy points and Reggie Wayne only had four catches for forty-eight yards.

Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs

Denver took out weeks of frustration on the Chiefs. Knowshon Moreno had two scores on eighty-six yards rushing. Brandon Marshall and Daniel Graham caught Kyle Ortons’ two touchdown passes.

The Matt Cassell experiment hasn’t gone so well for the Chiefs. He may not have much of a supporting cast, but he hasn’t done much with what talent he does have around him. Cassell threw two interceptions on just eighty-four yards passing. Jamaal Charles scored the lone Cheif’s touchdown.

New England Patriots at Miami Dolphins

Tom Brady aired it out against Miami to the tune of 352 yards and two touchdowns. He also threw two picks, one of which cost the Pats the game late in the fourth quarter. Randy Moss and Sam Aiken each caught long touchdown passes from Brady. Wes Welker added 167 yards receiving.

The Dolphins won this game thanks to Dan Carpenter and Chad Henne. Carpenter kicked three field goals in the win, including the game winner. Henne threw for 335 yards and hooked up with Davone Bess and Brian Hartline for a score each.

Oakland Raiders at Pittsburgh Steelers

This game proves why betting on the NFL isn’t as easy as people think. Oakland won this game thanks to Brad Gradkowski playing out of his mind. He threw for 308 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions. Some guy named Louis Murphy torched the Steelers defense for two scores and 128 yards receiving.

The Steelers had a chance to win this game, but fell short. Santonio Holmes and Hines Ward each caught a touchdown and Rashard Mendenhall added a touchdown on 103 yards rushing in the loss.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Carolina Panthers

Josh Freeman did his best Jake Delhomme impression by throwing five interceptions. Not surprisingly, the Bucs scored no offensive touchdowns and lost the game.

Jonathan Stewart filled in nicely for the inactive DeAngelo Williams. Stewart scored a touchdown and rushed for 120 yards. John Kasay kicked three field goals.

Houston Texans at Jacksonville Jaguars

Matt Schaub got hurt, but returned to the game to hook up with Andre Johnson on a late fourth quarter touchdown. The Texans running game was contained by the Jags defense.

David Garrard played well, but turned in only a so-so fantasy performance. He threw two touchdowns, but only passed for 238 yards. Nate Hughes and Ernest Wilford each caught a touchdown.

New Orleans Saints at Washington Redskins

The Saints managed to stay undefeated, but just barely. Drew Brees and the Saints were down by ten points three different times, but kept managing to get back in the game. Brees only tossed two touchdowns, but threw for over 400 yards. Robert Meachem caught a touchdown for the fifth straight game, going over 140 yards receiving in the process. He also scored a touchdown on a heads up fumble recovery.

Redskins fans should feel good about the way they played the last three weeks, but I can’t remember three more heartbreaking losses suffered all in a row. Their running game was largely ineffective all day. Jason Campbell played well most of the game. He threw for 367 yards and three touchdowns. His lone interception cost the Skins a chance to win the game late.

San Diego Chargers at Cleveland Browns

This game was not nearly as close as the final score indicated. Philip Rivers threw all over the Browns, finishing with 373 yards and two scores. LaDainian Tomlinson, Darren Sproles and Mike Tolbert all scored touchdowns for the Chargers. Antonio Gates had a big game for the second week in a row. He didn’t find the end zone, but had 167 yards receiving.

Brady Quinn played admirably in the loss, throwing for three touchdowns and 271 yards. Jerome Harrison was on the receiving end of two of those touchdown passes.

San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks

Alex Smith continues to impress in his bid to return as the full time starter in San Francisco. He threw two touchdowns on 310 yards passing. Vernon Davis caught a touchdown for the third week in a row and eclipsed the 100 yard mark for the third time in five weeks.

The Seahawks had no outstanding performances on offense. Matt Hasselbeck played well in the win. He finished with 198 yards passing and two touchdowns. Julius Jones ran for sixty-seven yards on twenty carries in his return to action.

Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants

Cowboys critics will pile on Tony Romo for losing again in December, but Romo played as well as he could have in the loss. He also had a stellar fantasy day. Romo threw for 392 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions. Jason Witten, Miles Austin and Roy Williams all had huge games, each scoring at least 15 fantasy points.

The Giants won on the strength of several huge individual performances. Brandon Jacobs turned a routine outlet pass into a seventy-four yard touchdown reception and Domenik Hixon ran a kick back late to put the Giants ahead for good. Hakeem Nicks also had a nice catch and run for a score.

Kansas City Chiefs at Jacksonville Jaguars

Matt Cassell put up solid fantasy numbers as he threw two late touchdowns during a failed comeback bid. He finished with two scores and 262 yards passing and no picks. Filling in for the oft-suspended Larry Johnson, Jamaal Charles failed to impress gaining only thirty six yards.

Newly acquired Chris Chambers caught two touchdowns. Keep an eye on him and see if he and Cassell develop a good realtionship.

The Jags were led again by Maurice Jones-Drew who had 134 total yards and scored a touchdown. Mike Sims-Walker also had a big day with 147 yards receiving and a touchdown.

Green Bay Packers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Aaron Rodgers threw three interceptions, the last of which was a pick six that sealed the Packers loss to the winless Bucs. James Jones and Donald Driver each caught a touchdown. Ryan Grant rushed for 96 yards and a score.

Despite their win, the Bucs had no real impressive fantasy performances. Kellen Winslow caught his first touchdown since week 5.

Miami Dolphins at New England Patriots

Looking at the stats for this game, it is hard to believe the Dolphins weren’t blown out. They had only 334 total yards on offense. Ronnie Brown scored his weekly touchdown on a pass to Joey Haynos.

Tom Brady only had one touchdown pass, but it was a 71 yard bomb to Randy Moss. Moss finished with 147 yards receiving and the score.

Laurence Maroney had 82 yards rushing and scored a touchdown for the third week in a row.

Houston Texans at Indianapolis Colts

Matt Schaub did not appear to miss Owen Daniels too much. Schaub threw for 311 yards and a touchdown, but he did have two interceptions. Andre Johnson had 103 yards receiving.

Ryan Moats did not come close to matching last week’s numbers, but he did score a touchdown. Steve Slaton gained a meager seventeen yards on six carries, but he did score a touchdown in his new limited role. The problem for owners of both Houston running backs is now they appear to be in a full blown running back by committee approach.

Peyton Manning had modest numbers this week. He eclipsed the 300 yard mark, but only had one touchdown and a pick. Joseph Addai had 112 total yards and scored two touchdowns. Dallas Clark had a big day with fourteen catches and 119 yards receiving.

Baltimore Ravens at Cincinnati Bengals

Not many solid fantasy performances in this one.

The Ravens offense continues to struggle. Ray Rice scored the lone Raven touchdown and had 131 total yards.

Cedric Benson continued his streak of impressive performances. He rushed for 117 yards and scored a touchdown.

Arizona Cardinals at Chicago Bears

Unlike the the Ravens/Bengals game, this was an offensive shoot out. Kurt Warner bounced back in a big way after last week’s debacle. He threw for five touchdowns on 261 yards passing with no interceptions. Larry Fitzgerald caught two of the five and also had 123 yards receiving. Steve Breaston also caught a touchdown.

Jay Cutler also had a big game. He threw three touchdowns to Gren Olsen and had 369 yards passing. Matt Forte only had five carries for 33 yards, but he also had 74yards receiving.

Washington Redskins at Atlanta Falcons

Saving the worst for last, the bye week did not seem to help the Redskins. As if things couldn’t get any worse for the Skins, Clinton Portis left the game with a concussion and did not return.

Michael Turner went off to the tune of 166 yards rushing and two touchdowns. Turner has put together two huge weeks in a row and may be hitting his stride after a relatively slow start. Tony Gonzalez caught Matt Ryans’ lone passing touchdown.

San Francisco 49ers at Houston Texans

Shaun Hill got benched after a pitiful first half in which he led the 49ers to a 0-21 defict. Alex Smith started the third quarter and hooked up with Vernon Davis for three touchdowns in the second half. Frank Gore returned to action, but wasn’t much of a factor as the Niners got down early. He had thirteen carries for 32 yards.

Matt Schaub continues to be a solid fantasy quaterback. He had more modest numbers than some of his recent performances, but nothing wrong with 264 yards and two touchdowns. Owen Daniels had 123 yards receiving, which included a 42 yard touchdown reception.

Andre Johnson left the game early and did not return. He is already scheduled for “further tests” so his owners will be holding their brief until the results come back.

New England Patriots at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tom Brady threw for over 300 yards and three touchdowns. He has eleven touchdowns in his last three games. Wes Welker and Brady seemed to have finally gotten their groove back. Welker had ten catches and went over 100 yards receiving for the second week in a row.

The Bucs were abysmal on offense yet again. Their lone highlight was a thirty three yard strike from rookie quarterback Josh Johnson to Antonio Bryant.

Minnesota Vikings at Pittsburgh Steelers

Adrian Peterson scored a touchdown and had 129 yards of total offense. Peterson owners can now breathe a sigh of relief after facing the Ravens and Steelers in back to back weeks. AP’s next three opponents are Green Bay, Detroit and Seattle.

Sidney Rice has fully emerged as Favre’s favorite target, especially if is out for any length of time.

The Steelers weren’t that impressive on offense, but their defense carried them in the fourth quarter. They scored two defensive touchdowns and had an interception, fumble recovery and four sacks on the day.

Indianaoplis Colts at St. Louis Rams

Peyton Manning has clearly reestablished himself as an elite fantasy quarterback. He had three more touchdown passes and threw for 235 yards and no interceptions.

Reggie Wayne started off strong again, scored and then left with an injury. He did return albeit in a limited role, so keep an eye on his health this week.

The Rams continue to struggle and Steven Jackson continues to be the only player worth a start on their offense. He had 134 rushing.

San Diego Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs

The Chargers took out weeks of  frustration on the hapless Chiefs. Philip Rivers threw for 268 yards and three touchdowns. His new favorite target, Vincent Jackson, had a big game with 142 yards receiving and a touchdown.

I don’t know how to explain the horrid offense of the Kansas City Chiefs, so I won’t.

Green Bay Packers at Cleveland Browns

The packers offense was clicking against an inferior opponent. Aaron Rodgers threw three more touchdowns and now has eleven touchdowns on the year with at least one touchdown pass in each game and two or more in four of six.

Ryan Grant proved that he can still put together a good game even if it is against a weaker opponent. He had 148 yards rushing and a touchdown.

As far as Cleveland goes…BOOOOOOOO!
