The News According to the Seahawks official site, Julius Jones (chest) returned to full practice on Wednesday. Our View Jones is expected to play this week against the 49ers, and while his return is mild good news for owners, it's terrible for those who have Justin Forsett. The team is still calling Jones the starter, so he and Forsett will likely split carries, but the latter is the better fantasy play.

Seattle Seahawks running back Julius Jones has returned home after being released from a Phoenix hospital, but is unlikely to be cleared to play by Sunday's game in Minnesota, coach Jim Mora said Monday afternoon. Jones suffered a bruised lung and possibly a cracked rib in the first quarter of Seattle's 31-20 loss at Arizona. Mora said second-year back Justin Forsett and rookie Louis Rankin would handle the tailback duties against the Vikings, with fullback Justin Griffith sliding over if necessary. The big question is whether the 5-foot-8, 194-pound Forsett can handle a full load at tailback. He carried a career-high 17 times for 123 yards on Sunday. "Good question," Mora said. "I think we'll find out. Yesterday we took him off the kickoff return team in the second half (to give him a break). We're going to find out. He's going to be carrying the ball a lot this week." Danny O'Neil, of The Seattle Times, reports Seattle Seahawks RB Julius Jones was not named as a player who suffered an injury in the team's Week 2 game, but RB Justin Forsett finished the game, and Jones left the locker room with ice bags wrapped around his forearm.
