Injuries: Week 8

aboldin
Bye Weeks: Cincinnati, Kansas City, New England, Pittsburgh, Tampa Bay, Washington

Arizona Cardinals
Both Anquan Boldin (ankle) and Steve Breaston (knee) have minor injuries, but both should play.

Atlanta Falcons
No significant fantasy injuries.

Baltimore Ravens
No significant fantasy injuries.

Buffalo Bills
The Bills will keep Trent Edwards (concussion) on the sidelines again this week.

Carolina Panthers
Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson are both battling knee injuries. Expect Stafford to start, but keep tabs on Johnson, as he is a little more banged up.UPDATE: Johnson was running routes and Stafford was passing them on Thursday. Johnson is looking more like a start.

Green Bay Packers
Jermichael Finley (knee sprain) is listed as questionable this week. Don’t expect him to play.

Houston Texans
Well, Andre Johnson’s injury (lung contusion) isn’t as bad as some thought it might be, but be prepared to replace him in your lineup this week. UPDATE: Johnson was back at practice on Thursday and running routes. He says he feels no pain, but I wonder what it will feel like if he takes another big hit to the chest?

Indianapolis Colts
Reggie Wayne (groin) went from being okay to return to the game this past Sunday to not feeling too good afterward. Wait for the MRI results to come back before you make your decision. UPDATE: Wayne missed practice Thursday.

Anthony Gonzalez is expected to return to practice this week, but he’s questionable at best to play this week.

Miami Dolphins
No significant fantasy injuries.

Minnesota Vikings
Bernard Berrian is questionable after tweaking his hamstring against the Steelers. He might be good to go on Sunday, but keep in mind that this isn’t the first time he’s suffered this injury.UPDATE Berrian returned to practice Thursday, but was limited.

Percy Harvin missed practice Thursday due to an unspecified illness.

New Orleans Saints
No significant fantasy injuries.

New York Giants
Ahmad Bradshaw has a cracked foot. He is still playing on Sunday, but owners need to be weary that he is now playing until it fully breaks and he can’t run anymore. Highly likely that he breaks down before the end of the season.

New York Jets
Leon Washington is done for the season after breaking his leg in Sunday’s game against Oakland. Leon’s teammate, Shonn Greene, wouldn’t be the worst replacement in the world if no one in your league has snatched him up already.

Oakland Raiders
Darren McFadden (knee) is listed as questionable this week. Good news that he’s almost back, but don’t be surprised if the Raiders decide to wait until after their Week 9 bye to bring him back.

Philadelphia Eagles
Extremely doubtful Brian Westbrook (concussion) plays this week. That shot he took to the head was pretty brutal.

DeSean Jackson (foot sprain), although listed as questionable at this point, should be fine. He returned to the game after suffering the injury. UPDATE: Jackson was back at practice on Thursday fully participating.

San Diego Chargers
No significant fantasy injuries.

San Francisco 49ers
Heath Evans (knee) is on IR after surgery to repair his knee. Not a starter in fantasy, but he won’t be around to steal goal-line looks anymore.

Seattle Seahawks
Matt Hasselbeck (ribs) is practicing again after sitting out a few days with sore ribs.

St. Louis Rams
Marc Bulger had X-rays on his non-throwing hand Monday, but it was only precautionary. Expect him to start.

Tennessee Titans
No significant fantasy injuries.

Washington Redskins
Chris Cooley is out 4-6 weeks with a broken ankle.
